We are a community-based, volunteer organization focused on preserving, promoting, and teaching about the unique history of Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ. We sponsor school and community programs, special events and research projects. Established in 2009, the Avon Historical Society is an all volunteer, community based organization, incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. Graduating High School Seniors who reside in Avon are eligible to apply for one of two $1,000 scholarships. The application is downloadable and can be found at the bottom our Events page and the
deadline for submitting is APRIL 30,2018.
